When the world goes to hell in a hand-basket, will you be ready? |
When it happens, I have a plan.
And that plan goes into effect as soon as the first report of a zombie outbreak happens.
- Rush out and buy all the parts I need for my Jeep so that we’re not stranded on busy highways where hoards of zombies are simply buffet line of a cruise ship.
- I’ll also be making a stop over at Walmart to pick up any supplies that we’ll be needing. You know, the important stuff like food, water and camping gear.
- Get weapons. Lots of guns and swords (and a crossbow, of course).
I’m sure that I’ll have plenty of time to actually prepare once the zombie hoards start invading.
Right?
Okay, so maybe the zombie apocalypse isn’t going to start in the next few months (or ever, hopefully), but when it comes to running a business, you WILL have an emergency that you’ll have to deal with.

A Public Relations Plan will make dealing with the after effects of an emergency much easier. Be Prepared! |
Deal with the emergency as it happens. That is pretty obvious. But what happens after? Will the press be involved? Will customers have questions? Will someone post about it online or ask about the incident on Facebook? WHAT DO YOU DO???
This is not the time to run to Walmart to stock up on your necessary supplies!
A Public Relations plan is a lot like auto insurance or that shotgun for the zombie apocalypse. You don’t need it - until you do. And if you do need it, then it’s too late to go get it.
